Two Itineraries, Two Extraordinary Journeys
The Concierge Golf Program runs on two distinct AmaWaterways itineraries. Each has its own ship, its own course lineup, and its own character entirely. Best of all, both are available in 2026 and 2027.

Magna on the Danube, Aboard AmaMagna
The original golf program sails on AmaMagna, AmaWaterways’ flagship on the Danube. It is also one of the most distinctive golf river cruises on the Danube available today. Nearly twice the width of a traditional river cruise ship, AmaMagna carries a modest number of guests relative to its size. As a result, guests enjoy exceptional personal space, four dining venues, a full wellness studio, a sun deck pool, and a water sports platform that opens directly onto the river.
The itinerary flows through five countries across seven nights, traveling from Vilshofen in Germany to Budapest in Hungary. Additionally, an optional three-night Prague extension adds a fifth course for those who want to continue both the journey and the game.
This is the kind of trip that Aventures D’Or clients return from talking about for years. The combination of European cultural depth and serious championship golf is genuinely rare, and the Danube itinerary delivers it in a way that feels entirely effortless. Above all, it is a journey where the golf and the travel are equally extraordinary.
In total, the program includes up to five championship courses across four countries.
Pannonia Country Club, Budapest, Hungary
Pannonia hosts the Hungarian Open. It was designed by renowned Austrian course architect Hans G. Erhardt. The 18-hole layout sits in a valley, and the varied forms of its fairways create a genuinely memorable round. Lakes come into play on eight holes, and six different tee-box options ensure a fair and rewarding challenge for golfers of every level.
Penati Country Club Legends Course, Senica, Slovakia
The Legends Course was designed by Nicklaus Design, one of the world’s most respected golf course design firms. It also serves as the host of the Slovakian Open. Moreover, it includes the longest hole in Europe, a 787-yard par-six 15th hole with 11 tee options. The views from this hole alone make an impression that stays with you long after the round is finished.
Golf Club Adamstal, Ramsau, Austria
Golf Club Adamstal has hosted the Austrian Open. It is also widely regarded as one of the most beautiful courses in Europe. The 27-hole Jeff Howes design sits in the alpine foothills and blends seamlessly into the high forest. Golf Digest has consistently placed it among Europe’s finest. Indeed, those who have played rarely need convincing to return.
Golf Resort Bad Griesbach Beckenbauer Course, Bad Griesbach, Germany
The Beckenbauer Course was designed by former Masters champion Bernhard Langer. It is also the host of the Porsche European Open. Set in the meadow landscape surrounding the River Rott, it is a true championship layout. As a result of its hand-mown greens and exceptional year-round conditioning, it is consistently ranked among Germany’s most celebrated golf experiences.
Albatross Golf Course, Prague, Czech Republic
Albatross is available with the optional Prague extension. Golf Digest ranks it the leading golf course in the Czech Republic. Designed by Keith Preston on more than 80 hectares bordering the Cesky Kras Nature Reserve, it features seven lakes, 65 sand traps, and more than 1,200 mature trees. In short, it is as visually stunning as it is strategically demanding, and a fitting finale to the Danube journey.

Impressions of the Seine and Paris, Aboard AmaDante
In 2026, AmaWaterways brought the Concierge Golf Program to France for the first time. The Seine itinerary sails aboard AmaDante and is designed for the golfer who wants championship courses woven into the elegance of Paris, the Normandy coastline, and the French countryside.
AmaDante offers spacious staterooms with French balconies, regionally inspired cuisine and wines, and warm, attentive service throughout. The itinerary moves from Paris into Normandy across seven nights. Along the way, it calls at historic towns and landscapes that seem to belong to another era entirely.
When Aventures D’Or clients ask about combining serious golf with genuine luxury, the Seine program is one of the first conversations we have. Five championship courses are on offer, and another key point, three of them are available exclusively through AmaWaterways. No other river cruise line provides access to these courses. Together, they sit against the backdrop of France at its most beautiful, making this one of the most distinctive golf travel experiences in Europe.
Le Golf National, France
Le Golf National is consistently ranked among the top courses in France. It is best known as the host of the 2018 Ryder Cup. Designed by Hubert Chesneau and Robert Von Hagge, it is a genuine test of precision and nerve. In particular, its dramatic water-surrounded finishing holes have shaped some of golf’s most memorable moments.
Racing Club de France La Boulie, Versailles
La Boulie is ranked 40th in France. Established in 1901 near the Palace of Versailles, it was designed by Willie Park Jr. and has hosted the French Open 19 times. Its combination of history, setting, and course quality makes it one of the most coveted rounds in the country. It is available exclusively through AmaWaterways.
Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil, Normandy
Vaudreuil is ranked 65th in France. Fred Hawtree designed it in 1961, and it hosts the annual Vaudreuil Golf Challenge on the Challenge Tour. Similar to La Boulie, it is available exclusively through AmaWaterways.
Golf d’Etretat, Etretat, France
Golf d’Etretat is ranked 63rd in France. It sits above the iconic white chalk cliffs of Etretat, one of Normandy’s most celebrated natural landscapes. Consequently, it offers one of the most dramatic settings in all of European golf. Golfers who have played beautiful courses around the world tend to describe this one as something genuinely apart.
Golf de Saint-Germain, Saint-Germain-en-Laye
Golf de Saint-Germain is ranked 14th in Europe and 5th in France. Legendary English architect Harry Colt designed it in 1920, and it has hosted the French Open nine times. It is a walking-only course and one of the most historically significant in France. Furthermore, it is available exclusively through AmaWaterways, making it a truly rare opportunity for visiting golfers.
What Is Included

AmaWaterways has designed the Concierge Golf Program to remove every logistical concern from the experience. At Aventures D’Or, this is exactly the kind of thoughtful approach we look for when recommending a program to our clients. When nothing is left to chance, the experience is free to be truly extraordinary.
Premium Service and Comfort
A dedicated concierge manages full club care throughout the entire journey. In addition, luxury Mercedes transportation takes guests to and from every course. Finally, club cleaning after each round ensures that equipment is always ready for the next tee.
The Golfing Experience
Each golfer plays one round at each course. One shared golf cart and one range token are included per round. Additionally, a la carte lunch with beer and wine is provided at every course clubhouse, making each day on the course a complete and unhurried experience.
Welcome Package
Every guest receives a welcome package at the start of the program. It contains 12 Callaway Chrome Soft Tour golf balls, a pitch repair tool, a shoe bag, and course guides for every venue on the itinerary.
One detail worth noting is that golf course visits replace other shore excursions on those days. However, non-golfing companions continue with AmaWaterways’ full excursion program. The Concierge Golf Program works beautifully for couples and groups whose passions differ.
Planning Your Journey with Aventures D’Or
AmaWaterways is a proud Virtuoso partner, and for our clients, that distinction matters a great deal. Booking through Aventures D’Or means you are working with an advisor who knows this program in depth. We understand which questions to ask, which details matter, and, above all, how to match the right itinerary to the right traveler.
The discerning golfer does not want to manage logistics. Instead, they want to arrive, play extraordinary golf, enjoy exceptional food and wine, and wake up ready to do it again. That is precisely what this program delivers, and it is precisely what Aventures D’Or is here to make happen.
For golfers who want to experience Europe’s great rivers and its great courses in a single journey, this program is one of the finest options available today.
